01 HIGH PERFUMERY AND EXCEPTIONAL JEWELLERY

For this end of year under the sign of the extraordinary, French jewellery designer Shourouk Rhaiem is taking the iconic Bee Bottle into her sparkling, multicoloured world. The iconic bottle is reinvented as a masterful Métier d'Art edition adorned with Swarovski® crystals, paying tribute to the marvelous fragrance Shalimar, which is preparing to celebrate its centenary in 2025. For the occasion, this Exceptional Piece contains the Extrait de Parfum Shalimar, the rarest and most precious version of this legendary scent.

02 A LEGENDARY FRAGRANCE TO CELEBRATE THE FESTIVE SEASON

Inside the piece is Extrait de Parfum Shalimar, a mythical trail of obsessive sensuality. It opens with an explosion of flowers and bergamot, warmed by notes of iris, jasmine and rose. The balmy notes of vanilla and tonka bean then give it all its voluptuousness and power.

03  THE JOYFUL AND UNCONVENTIONAL AESTHETICS OF SHOUROUK RHAIEM

Initially a jewellery designer, Shourouk Rhaiem started covering her first pieces with crystals in her Paris workshop more than fifteen years ago. Very inspired by her travels in Tunisia, the pop culture of the 80s and the glamour of Hollywood films, Shourouk Rhaiem likes to sublimate everyday objects by dressing them in a multitude of Swarovski® crystals in a variety of sizes and colours. It is, according to her, a poetic and unusual way of making the ordinary extraordinary.

04 KNOW-HOW AND METICULOUSNESS SERVING THE EXTRAORDINARY

As if set with precious stones, each bottle is hand-crafted in Shourouk Rhaiem's Paris workshop, using refined, meticulous jewellery-making skills that require long hours of work. The first step is to paint the patterns on the bottle, which are then covered with rhinestones. Then comes the subtle choice of colours: the artist lines up in front of her a gradation of crystals that will give each piece its unique character. Finally, she applies them one by one, transforming the bottle into a spectacular work of art with flamboyant reflections.

“EVER SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL, I'VE BEEN LULLED BY THE SCENT OF SHALIMAR. IT WAS MY MOTHER'S PERFUME AND IT'S NOW MY PROUST'S MADELEINE.”

05 A SPARKLING TRIBUTE TO THE SHALIMAR PERFUME

This Métier d'Art edition celebrates the perfume Shalimar with splendour. On one side, sparkling crystals reveal the famous faceted bottle designed in 1925 surrounded by majestic peacock feathers, a reference to the fragrance's Indian inspirations. On the other side of the bottle, the intertwined double G, the House's emblem, is surrounded by a myriad of dazzling flowers with multicoloured petals, like an echo of the opulence of Shalimar's majestic gardens.
