Traceable supply chains

To further its commitment to the environment, Guerlain has partnered with the non-profit organisation, UEBT (Union for Ethical BioTrade), to certify its supply chains by 2026. Meaning that each of Guerlain’s 40 most prominent supply chains are verified, and improvement plans developed so that alongside each and every supplier and producer Guerlain can go even further in its sourcing ethical, ecologically-friendly, natural materials.

SANDALWOOD
The sandalwood essence used by Guerlain is sourced mainly from Australia, where it is harvested and distilled. House perfumer Thierry Wasser has travelled to Australia on numerous occasions to visit the sandalwood plantation, which since 2015 has followed sustainable harvesting practices.

A RADIANT UPDATE FOR THE ICONIC BOTTLE

Santal Royal comes in the Allegoria collection’s emblematic bottle which is made in France using 15% recycled glass. Featuring a removable spray pump and transparent lacquer finish, its design facilitates recycling.
