The duo of rose essence and rose absolute, emblematic of La Petite Robe Noire, has been enriched with a third variety: Centifolia rose absolute from Grasse, also known as “rose de mai”. A true jewel in the Guerlain palette, it exudes a round, honeyed, rare and precious scent.
Zesty, green and floral in one, this faceted citrus fruit dubbed “Calabrian green gold” is also one of Guerlain’s favourite raw materials. Like a breath, sparkling bergamot reveals all the freshness of rose.
If the heart shape and design of this Flacon Coeur seem instantly familiar, that’s because it follows in the footsteps of another icon in Guerlain’s fragrance heritage: the famous ”inverted heart” bottle. First created in 1912 for L’Heure Bleue and then reissued for La Petite Robe Noire in 2012, this timeless bottle forms the inspiration of this part-classic, part-modern bottle and its innovative size, making it quintessentially Guerlain.
