This is the story behind L'Instant de Guerlain, an intimate, sunny, sensual fragrance that ushered in a new olfactory family: the crystalline amber family. Revisited, Guerlain’s famous Guerlinade is enveloped in citrus honey, magnolia accords and an intense, carnal amber accord. Velvety and gourmand, a symbol for a new femininity, L'Instant de Guerlain is a skin scent filled with a light that begs to be basked in forever.

A legend of desire ablaze with amber and citrus honey

A citrus, honey accord leads to a second accord of Chinese magnolia accentuated with Sambac jasmine and ylang-ylang which illuminates an amber accord. In all these three dominant sensations combine to create a skin scent filled with light.

An original composition created by Guerlain perfumers, our magnolia accord expresses the floral, fruity and lemony facets of magnolia.

AMBER ACCORD

Revealing balsam and vanilla facets, an amber accord brings a sunny and sensual dimension to fragrance.

A LEGENDARY BOTTLE

Designed by Raymond Guerlain in 1912, its iconic “inverted heart” bottle is underscored with graceful scrolls typical of Art Nouveau. Its avant-garde stopper, in the form of a hollowed heart, evokes the delicate romanticism of this perfumery masterpiece and represented a real technical feat at the time.
