01 AN EXCEPTIONAL EDITION IN COLLABORATION WITH LEE UFAN

For this limited and numbered edition, Guerlain has invited a key figure on the current contemporary art scene: Lee Ufan. The South Korean artist has infused his genius into this unique edition, reinterpreting the famous Flacon Quadrilobé in a grandiose edition made of an incredibly pure porcelain and crafted by Bernardaud. To mark this unique collaboration, the precious bottle contains an exclusive floral fragrance, Souvenir d'Orchidée, conceived jointly by the painter and the Guerlain Perfume Creation Director & Perfumer, Delphine Jelk.

02 A FOUR-HANDED OLFACTORY CREATION

To a unique collaboration, a unique fragrance. This rare piece contains an original fragrance created in symbiosis between Lee Ufan and Delphine Jelk, Guerlain Perfume Creation Director & Perfumer. Named Souvenir d'Orchidée, the aquatic floral fragrance is a delicate celebration of the mountain orchid. The Extrait de Parfum opens with the floral, biting note of angelica and is accompanied by a jasmine-iris accord in a cloud of musk, ambrette and incense, evoking the purity and elevation of the soul. Mineral accents enrich the fragrance with a solar and iodine dimension, recalling the mineral majesty of mountains.

03 LEE UFAN, PAINTER OF THE INFINITE

Behind the artist's seemingly minimalist compositions lies a complex depth. On his immaculate canvases, the brushstrokes saturated with pigmented acrylic create a poetic dialogue between the painted space and the space left blank, shaping a meeting place where each observer is invited to experience art in an introspective way. The white space becomes a place of imagination where people enter a relationship with something beyond themselves, opening up to the outside world and to the infinite.

04 THE PURITY OF BERNARDAUD PORCELAIN

Made entirely from porcelain in Limoges, the iconic bottle originally created in 1908 is a perfect example of the remarkable fusion of tradition and innovation. It is in the heart of the Bernardaud workshops, founded over 160 years ago, that this porcelain jewel, in its prestigious two-litre version, comes to life. From the creation of the moulds to the firing of the pieces, each Flacon Quadrilobé is the fruit of exceptional craftsmanship inherited from centuries-old know-how, combined with a constant search for innovation.

"I HOPE TO ESTABLISH A POETIC DIALOGUE WITH THE VIEWER, THAT THE WORK STIMULATES THE IMAGINATION, THAT IT ALLOWS THE VIEWER TO FLY OFF THE CANVAS AND OPEN UP TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD, TO INFINITY."

LEE UFAN

05 A MINIMALIST, UNIVERSAL MASTERPIECE

The multi-faceted bottle is like a blank canvas for the artist. A bold green line transcends its simple appearance to become a manifestation of movement and energy. Associated with eternal life in Japanese culture, but also a symbol of balance, nature and rebirth, the green color, not often used by Lee Ufan, echoes the link between art and environmental concerns. The Flacon Quadrilobé becomes a veritable work of art, inviting us to reflect on creation, the moving beauty of simplicity and the opulence of minimalism.
