01 WHEN THE BEE BOTTLE FLOATS IN A CLOUD OF BALLOONS

For this new exceptional creation, Guerlain has invited French artist Charles Petillon, famous for his photographs and monumental installations of white balloons. The maestro has created a masterpiece imbued with poetry and delicacy, reinventing the Bee Bottle by setting it in a swirl of aerial porcelain spheres, like a cloud of balloons. Dressed with white gold for the occasion, the iconic Bee Bottle conceals a floral, contrasting and addictive fragrance, called Pêche Mirage. A fragrance evoking peach and the unexpected tension between the velvety softness of yellow fruit and the depth of leather.

02 CHARLES PETILLON OR THE ART OF MAKING VISIBLE THE INVISIBLE

One of the leading figures in contemporary art, Charles Petillon is renowned for his installations of immaculate white balloons, directly erected in wild or urban environments. His ephemeral works aim to reveal the hidden beauty of our everyday lives, and remind us of the need to rediscover the magic in our surroundings. By installing balloons in unexpected places, the artist invites viewers to look at an environment they are no longer used to seeing, thus making "visible the invisible."

03 LIMOGES PORCELAIN: BETWEEN TRADITION AND INNOVATION

Entirely made of porcelain in Limoges, the imposing balloon structure perfectly embodies the remarkable fusion between centuries-old craftsmanship and a constant quest for innovation. It is at the heart of the Ateliers Arquié, founded in 1996 and world-renowned for their excellence, that the masterpiece conceived by Charles Petillon comes to life. From the creation of the moulds to the firing of the pieces, every stage of production has been rethought to adapt to this unprecedented format, resulting in a veritable feat of craftmanship.

04 A MASTERPIECE OF LIGHTNESS

The Bee Bottle floats, as if enveloped by a swarm of ethereally pure round balloons. For this spectacular edition, the sixty-nine bees on the iconic bottle have been hand-painted in white gold, inviting themselves into these cottony skies. To enhance the look and reveal unseen facets of the masterpiece, it is reflected on a mirrored base, a delicate reference to Charles Petillon’s photography and a way to pay tribute to the fragrance’s name: Pêche Mirage.

"THESE BALLOONS INVASIONS ARE METAPHORS. THEY AIM TO CHANGE OUR PERSPECTIVE ON WHAT WE SEE EVERY DAY WITHOUT WITHOUT PAYING ATTENTION."

05 PÊCHE MIRAGE: A CONTRASTING OLFACTORY SYMPHONY

Guerlain unveils Pêche Mirage, a new olfactory poem in the L'Art & La Matière collection. An addictive and sensual play of contrasts, where fruity sweetness blends with the intensity of raw materials. At first, the peach reveals the first notes of its fragrance, a juicy, spicy flight carried by a bold duo of saffron and blackcurrant. Then vivacity gently rounds out, taking on fruity leathery accents through osmanthus. The tension between the fruit and the leather notes extends into an intense, enveloping trail, warmed by sandalwood and amber tincture, the fruity accord slips into ambery depth.
