Guerlain reveals an exclusive artistic collaboration with the Turkish jeweller Begüm Khan, inviting her to add a new twist to the Rouge G case, celebrating the Maison’s symbol, the bee.
Strongly influenced by nature and the opulence of the East, Begüm Khan’s creations breathe life into a dreamlike world of beasts, crafted from rare and precious materials.
03 A MADE-TO-MEASURE JEWELED BEE
For Begüm Khan, applying lipstick is a symbol of feminine power. Therefore, she imagined for Guerlain a precious jewel case set with an over-sized bee.
Each case is handcrafted in her atelier in Turkey, where a 24-carat gold-plated bronze is meticulously adorned with 280 shimmering synthetic gems.
