For more than ten years, Guerlain research has been relying on the powers of honey used for millennia as bandages treatment to create specialist skincare for youthful skin in collaboration with scientific experts in honey-based skin repair.

Formulated with 93% naturally-derived ingredients¹, Honey Treatment Rich Cream boasts advanced Dynamic Blackbee Repair technology, an unprecedented combination of four repairing honeys and a superconcentrated exclusive royal jelly. It is combined with a beeswax butter to maintain moisture at the heart of the epidermis.

Dynamic BlackBee Repair technology combines the most powerful bee products chosen by Guerlain research: the exceptional Black Bee honey from Ouessant Island (Brittany, France) enriched with three other honeys from unspoilt islands (Corsica, Ikaria, Åland) and an exclusive royal jelly. This exclusive technology targets skin's natural repair mechanisms.

HONEY FROM OUESSANT ISLAND, BRITTANY, FRANCE

18km off the coast of Brittany, Ouessant Island, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, is a preserved and protected ecosystem. A species endemic to the island, the Black Bee, produces a honey with exceptional properties. Its wealth of amino acids, content of trace elements and high level of fructose are all essential elements that help to visibly repair the signs of aging.

SUPERCONCENTRATED EXCLUSIVE ROYAL JELLY

Produced in very small quantities, royal jelly is the most precious substance from the beehive, capable of transforming an ordinary bee into a queen with exceptional vitality. To guarantee the high quality and traceability of its royal jelly, Guerlain has developed its own exclusive sourcing in France. This exclusive royal jelly is superconcentrated in Honey Treatment Rich Cream and contains carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and vitamins.

BEESWAX BUTTER

Beeswax butter is a blend derived from beeswax and plant-based wax capable of trapping water molecules at its heart to help to create an enveloping film, recreating an optimal environment for skin repair.

Honey Treatment Rich Cream falls within Guerlain’s sustainable development approach. The 15%¹ lighter glass jar contains between 20% and 40% recycled glass. Its lid is kept and used with a new refill². From the purchase of the first refill, the carbon footprint is reduced by 36%³. Its paper pack comes from responsibly managed forests (FSC Mix).

THE REMODELING AND TONING HONEY TREATMENT PROTOCOL

1. TONE: With the edge of the index fingers, massage downwards over the sides of the nose. Smooth towards the outside of the face to the ears, still using the edge of the index fingers.
2. LIFT: Slide the palms of your hands flat along each side of the jaw, starting from the bottom of the chin and moving towards the ears. End with an external smoothing stroke over the crow’s feet area with the fingertips.
