A contrasted interpretation of neroli
Out of this clash of materials arises a magnetic, chiaroscuro fragrance that plunges us into a fascinating state of disorientation.
The fragrance artist’s touch
"If it were a painting, a black monochrome by Pierre Soulages."
Néroli Outrenoir offers a newfound bright white to the darkness, in the style of a work by Pierre Soulages. The Guerlain Perfumers took inspiration from the masterworks of this painter, who brought abrupt glimmers of light out from the dark.
Neroli
Neroli essence is obtained through distilling orange blossom. Fresh and floral, it is distinguished by its verdant, citrusy notes.
For Néroli Outrenoir, orange blossoms are hand-picked and distilled on site in Nabeul, Tunisia.
Neroli has been a material used by the House of Guerlain ever since its founding, forming the signature of the iconic Eau de Cologne Impériale composed in 1853.
