GUERLAIN FRAGRANCE EXPERTISE
A UNIQUE SIGNATURE, GUERLINADE
The inimitable Guerlinade has been the signature of Guerlain fragrance creations since 1921. It is composed of a blend of six iconic ingredients: vanilla, bergamot, tonka bean, iris, rose and jasmine.

The House maintains long-term partnerships with suppliers who have impeccable standards of quality and sustainability, and exceptional supply chains. The ingredients of Guerlinade are the object of very special attention.
THE ART OF BOTTLING
In the Guerlain workshop in Orphin (France), the “Dames de Table” perpetuate a know-how passed down from generation to generation: that of embellishing perfume bottles. There are only six Dames who master these rare, precise and meticulous gestures, which are similar to those of haute couture.

L’ART & LA MATIÈRE COLLECTION
With this collection, Guerlain raises perfume to the level of Art – where material becomes Art. Relying on the exceptionality of its materials, it isolates for each creation an ingredient treated in majestic style but always worked in tandem with the rest of the composition. Its bottle, a contemporary reinterpretation from the archives, is refillable and offers unprecedented customization.
THE AQUA ALLEGORIA COLLECTION
This collection was created in 1999 as allegories of Nature. A direct and joyful composition producing exceptionally bright and colorful creations. In 2022, it was reinvented as an emblem of Guerlain's commitment: refillable bottles and formulas with up to 95% naturalness, in organically farmed alcohol.
LES LÉGENDAIRES COLLECTION
Bringing together recent and historic creations that have left their mark on perfumery, this collection tells eternal love stories translated into wonderful scents infused with exceptional ingredients. All these creations are now united with the inverted-heart bottle, created for L'Heure Bleue in 1912.
THE MASCULINE COLLECTION
Bringing together all the legendary creations of the House since the middle of the 20th century: Habit Rouge, the first amber fragrance for men, Vétiver, an elegant and racy spicy woody fragrance, and more recent creations such as L'Homme Idéal, Héritage, L'Instant Homme and Guerlain Homme. Their square bottle is a reinterpretation of the original Habit Rouge bottle.
CREATIONS IN HISTORY
1853, THE EAU DE COLOGNE IMPÉRIALE
Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain dedicated it to Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III. The first Guerlain cologne, this floral bouquet of radical simplicity became a symbol of good taste. Its revolutionary and now emblematic bottle is decorated with the bees of the Empire: the Guerlain Bee Bottle.
1889, JICKY
The first fragrance to combine synthetic notes and natural materials, Jicky is a revolutionary fougère fragrance. It mixes two molecules that had just been developed: coumarin and vanillin. Jicky opened the way to modern perfumery. A scent for her and for him.
1925, SHALIMAR
The first amber fragrance, it is inspired by an eternal love story. To create it, Jacques Guerlain is said to have poured a bottle of vanilla into Jicky... and the result is said to have turned heads... Its footed bottle was a technical accomplishment at the time, and its cap the first coloured stopper in perfumery.
1965, HABIT ROUGE
Habit Rouge echoes the jackets of horsemen and the equestrian universe to which Jean-Paul Guerlain is so attached. It stands out in the olfactory landscape of the 1960s: the first amber fragrance for men, it mirrors Shalimar with the House's signature vanilla.
1989, SAMSARA
Jean-Paul Guerlain's most beautiful declaration of love to his wife. He combined jasmine and sandalwood with ylang-ylang to create an original composition reminiscent of the fragrant interior of Indian temples. With it, "the woman is reborn in Guerlain".
2009, LA PETITE ROBE NOIRE
Created in 2009 by Delphine Jelk and Thierry Wasser, La Petite Robe Noire is a revolution. A story of love, of the rose, of Guerlain and of Paris, written in a single brushstroke, it is the latest addition to Guerlain's Légendaires.
