For the 3rd consecutive year, Guerlain calls for action on World Bee Day 2023.
Our goal remains the same: to raise up to 1 million euros in three days to support the Guerlain for Bees Conservation Program. So many natural treasures and resources depend on the masterful work of bees. Guerlain sees its commitment to protect them as an endeavour to teach future generations about these incredible forces of nature, while safeguarding their survival.

20% of sales* will be donated to the Guerlain for Bees Conservation Program, including sales of the limited-edition Abeille Royale Advanced Youth Watery Oil, which has been redesigned for the occasion by French artist, Céline Cléron.

With the Guerlain for Bees Conservation Program, Guerlain has been committed to helping protect bees and preserving biodiversity on a broad scale for more than 10 years. The program encompasses meaningful initiatives and partnerships that reflect the following thematic pillars: preserve and pollinate, educate, empower and innovate.

A sustainability sponsorship with the Brittany Black Bee Conservatory Association based on the island of Ouessant.
WOMEN FOR BEES
The Women for Bees Program in partnership
with UNESCO in its Biosphere Reserves and independently with referential local NGOs.
BEE SCHOOL
The creation of the Bee School, an awareness-building program to teach young children about bee protection.
IUCN
A 3-year sponsorship with the French Committee of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature in favor of wild bees.
SHAN SHUI CONSERVATION CENTER
Partnership with the Shan Shui Conservation Center NGO, in collaboration with the Chinese National Department of Education.
GOODPLANET FOUNDATION
Sponsorship with the GoodPlanet Foundation, an NGO created by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, for raisingyoung people’s awareness of bee conservation issues.
FRENCH NATIONAL MUSUEM OF NATURAL HISTORY
Three-year sponsorship with the French National Museum of Natural History.
BEE SCHOOL SESSIONS LED BY FRIENDS OF THE HOUSE
Protecting the bees is only part of the way forward. It is imperative to continuously raise awareness around the importance of bee conservation in the world of both today and tomorrow. These Bee Schools, hosted globally in primary schools, explain the role of bees to children and teach them how to protect these precious pollinators. Nearly 6,000 children in over ten countries have been able to learn about the various issues facing bees and biodiversity conservation thanks to the Bee School program.
