Spiritueuse Double Vanille is a woody-ambery fragrance that takes you on a journey far away.

In this fragrance, a sheer excess of vanilla reveals its smokiness, woodiness and generosity. Accompanied by jasmine, ylang ylang, benzoin and cedar, the Guerlain Perfumer evokes exotic escapades and long journeys by boat. This is an epic expedition lulled by scents of rum and crates of spices.

A signature material at the House of Guerlain, vanilla is a vital ingredient of the Guerlinade. Guerlain Perfumers have remained constantly devoted to a tireless quest to find its finest varieties.

Madagascan vanilla planifolia graces Spiritueuse Double Vanille with its generous, woody facets. This particular variety requires eighteen months to prepare. Used as a tincture, an age-old technique perpetuated by Guerlain, the vanilla is hand-cut and cold-soaked in order to exalt its fragrance to perfection.

At Guerlain, vanilla has withstood through the years, embracing the House’s most legendary scents with its enveloping sweetness.
