The Orchidée Impériale Longevity Concentrate targets the areas where youthful volume has been lost, for denser, beautifully enhanced skin. The duo of orchids at the heart of Cell Respiration™ technology help regulate the level of oxygen in the cells. The cell can breathe once more, maximises its energy production and regenerates¹ more quickly to visibly minimise the signs of ageing. Tigernut extract helps strengthen the structure and cohesion of the skin's support fibres¹. With each application, youthful volume appears restored, facial contours more defined, wrinkles smoothed and pores refined. Queen in the plant kingdom, it possesses prodigious longevity mechanisms, some even live to be a hundred years. Convinced of its infinite potential for the skin, Guerlain created, more than fifteen years ago, the first research centre ever dedicated to an ingredient: the Orchidarium®. Experts have identified a prodigious duo of orchids selected out of 30,000 species and concentrated their power in high regeneration technologies.

CELL RESPIRATION™ TECHNOLOGY

The Longevity Concentrate is enriched with Cell Respiration™ technology which concentrates the exceptional regenerating power drawn from an extraordinary duo of orchids. It helps regulate cellular respiration, the skin's primary longevity mechanism, to fight oxygen deficiency¹ and improve skin regeneration². The signs of ageing are visibly improved.

The Longevity Concentrate is also enriched with tigernut extract for a redensifying² effect, and rosa multiflora fruit extract which targets the pores³. Tigernut is a herbaceous plant from the same botanical family as papyrus. Its small tubers are used in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine for their many properties. Rosa multiflora is one of the best-known wild rose species in Asia, particularly Japan. The hips are red to purple when ripe and contain a number of active molecules, in particular flavonoids.

Apply The Longevity Concentrate morning and evening after The Essence-in-Lotion and before Orchidée Impériale The Cream. Developed by the experts at L’Institut Guerlain, this technique optimises the redensifying effect of this serum.

Step 1: apply the product in circular movements from the inside of the face outwards, not forgetting the neck.
Step 2: pinch the skin and rotate your wrists a quarter turn all over the face.
Step 3: place your hands in a V shape at the bottom of the face and apply pressure in an upward direction like a wave.
Step 4: tap the whole of the face with the fingertips.
