Chamade is part of Guerlain's Patrimoine Collection. A collection made of emblematic fragrances, composed for more than a century by 5 generations of Perfumers. These mythical pioneer perfumes compose a unique olfactive library, that the Maison Guerlain endeavors to preserve. Chamade is a hymn to love that unfurls like the spring with equal grace, feminity, independence and attraction. With flowers in a thousand nuanced shades, this perfume speaks of a romantic and audacious woman who serenely accepts the inclination of her heart. Chamade is presented in a spray bottle inspired by the iconic Bee Bottle, covered in 69 iconic bees of the Empire.

A legend of free love, coloured with blackcurrant and hyacinth

With Chamade Guerlain brought the green and fruity accents of blackcurrant bud refreshed with the green harmony of hyacinth to perfumery for the first time. This symphony is enhanced by Guerlain’s signature “Guerlinade” in which jasmine, vanilla, and sandalwood reign supreme.

HYACINTH ACCORD

An original creation made by Guerlain perfumers, the hyacinth accord
expresses the green and floral scent of the hyacinth.

VANILLA

As a signature ingredient used by the Guerlain Maison, vanilla forms an essential part of “Guerlinade”. As such Guerlain perfumers have relentlessly sought out the most beautiful vanilla varieties.
Vanilla brings a gourmand, sensual note to perfume.

HOUSE SECRETS

Chamade marked the first use of blackcurrant bud in perfumery. At Guerlain, Chamade also initiated the first accord around hyacinth over a Guerlinade base.

A LEGENDARY BOTTLE

Designed by Raymond Guerlain in 1912, its iconic “inverted heart” bottle is underscored with graceful scrolls typical of Art Nouveau. Its avant-garde stopper, in the form of a hollowed heart, evokes the delicate romanticism of this perfumery masterpiece and represented a real technical feat at the time.
